The goal of the Preston Trail Rotary Club Flag Program is simple: to see the American flag alongside the Texas flag proudly displayed in front of homes and businesses throughout Celina and Gunter on important national holidays while raising funds that make a difference in our local communities.
For $70 per year, Preston Trail Rotary will provide, install, display, maintain, store, and replace your American flag as needed. Rotary volunteers, along with local Boy Scouts, install a ground sleeve near the curb of your home or business before each designated flag distribution. A beautiful 3' x 5' American flag on a 10-foot metal pole is placed in the sleeve for designated holidays. After the display period, the flag is retrieved and safely stored until the next distribution.

Customers can add a Texas flag for just $50 this year. Your Texas flag will be installed and serviced alongside your American flag during designated display periods.

Your Flag Makes a Difference
The Flag Program is much more than a patriotic display. Your contribution benefits the Preston Trail Rotary Club of Celina and Gunter, as well as the many community service programs we support throughout the year.
Preston Trail Rotary supports projects benefiting local students, schools, libraries, parks, first responders, families, community organizations, scholarships, and other needs throughout Celina and Gunter.
Through Rotary, we also help support important international service initiatives, including clean and safe water projects and PolioPlus, Rotary's worldwide effort to eradicate polio.
Supporting Our Local Youth
30% of Flag Program sales go directly to local Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other participating youth organizations that help service the program.
Rotary manages the overall Flag Program, while participating youth groups help deliver, post, retrieve, and care for the flags during each distribution. This partnership allows local youth organizations to raise money for their programs and activities while participating in a meaningful community service project.
When you purchase a flag subscription, you're not only supporting Rotary; you are helping to support tomorrow's leaders who help make this program possible.

Your annual subscription includes four flag distributions covering eight patriotic holidays:

Caring for Your Flag
While your flag is displayed, we ask customers to keep an eye on it and care for it in the way that works best for their home or business.
Some participants choose to illuminate their flag at night, remove and repost it each day, or use a black ribbon during periods of half-staff observance. These are personal choices and are not requirements of the program.
Our goal is simply to come together as a community, proudly show our colors, celebrate our country and state, and raise funds that allow us to continue serving others.
