Preston Trail Rotary Club and Rotary EClub of North Texas invites you to join us for Pints for Polio Most know it as poliovirus. The virus is spread person to person, typically through contaminated water. It can attack the nervous system, and in some instances, lead to paralysis. Although there is no cure, there is a safe and effective vaccine – one which Rotary and our partners used to immunize over 2.5 billion children worldwide. The facts:
Tickets are $20 per person and includes a Rotary pint glass and 2 pints of beer. A huge thank you to our partners, Lamar National Bank as our executive sponsor, The Nook CKMC who will be donating 10% of all food proceeds, Rollertown Beerworks who will be donating the beer, and RTP Club Clothes who will be donating the pints. Eradicating polio one pint at a time. |
